- Easy way or normal way?

We did not see a successful acquisition or merger in the computer industry not because they were bad ideas but because people cannot handle stress caused by the mergers. Why is this so? Because the nervous system of many people cannot handle extra informational pressure and it is subconsciously trying to escape from it at any cost. This leads to decreasing of employee?s productivity.
It looks like stress management is an obvious solution that may help with decreased productivity of the employees. Unfortunately, this is not quite so.
The problem is that stress management in the implementation by the famous TV/Internet guru like Dr. Phill, causes additional stress rather than relieves them from the existing one. Why? Because those gurus were made by people who ONLY know how to make money by ABUSING emotional shortages of their clients-victims. Therefore, they choose to promote ONLY those ?gurus? who can do what guru-star-makers like the most ? abusing people?s weaknesses, which people-victims are emotionally attached to. As you can imagine this is not help at all.
Why do money-makers do so? Because this is the easiest way to make money.
Why is abusing clients using their emotional shortages a good business?
To answer this question you need to find the right answers to two other questions first: What are these people?s emotional shortages? What does it mean from the business point of view?
People?s emotional shortages are something that people cannot control. If people cannot control that ?something? ? than it means - this ?something? controls these people. Therefore, if you found this ?hole? into the mind of your victim ? the victim will do what you WANT and is happy to pay what you WANT and will enjoy what they are doing against themselves. Victims are happy to be victims and want to be victims until they can tolerate this kind of stress. The result - if you want to make money by abusing other people?s emotional shortages ? you will get easy money and a lot. Once you got into the mind of your victims using their emotional weaknesses ? they become like zombies and follow you, even if you lead them to a dead end.
That?s why marketing ?geniuses? looking only for those gurus who help them to abuse people most.
This built-on-abuse business model has one shortcoming ? nobody can abuse people forever. Why? Even if people like to be abused ? it causes stress by affecting victim?s subconsciousness. It means mind. Mind as any other organ needs energy to process information. Thus, abuse of the mind with unnecessary extra information (forcing to work, buy, etc.) drains down people?s energy that they need for work, leisure, their body functions, etc. When draining of energy will exceed a critical level ? the victims will stop responding to abuse as they did before = no business.
Practically, it means that when you need to increase the energy level of your employees, (for example, if you have a merger) ? using of a built-on-abuse business model led by a guru like Dr. Phill and like, will hurt your company a lot.
Of course marketing genius-abusers not only do not understand the problem ? they even do NOT want to understand it. And to make matters worse, they create additional problems to make profit on resolving the troubles they created.
Why bother yourself with thinking if there are so many easy to rob victims around?
The result ? if you will hire such a marketing genius-abuser to resolve a problem that requires a creative approach, (it means they need to give extra energy for employees to increase their productivity) ? the best the marketing guru-abusers can do is offering you a fighting not with the reason of problem/stress but its consequences. In other words, what they can offer is to ?fight with smoke, not fire?.
This kind of ?help? is a high energy consuming activity for the mind of an average worker, because instead of elimination of the source of stress it only increases informational pressure on their mind. So, when your employees are already under stress (for example, a merger) ? forcing them to fight with ?smoke? using recommendations of famous ?gurus? ALWAYS causes a bigger stress.
Logically, if you need to give your employees extra motivation/energy to improve your business ? it?s safer to reject offers from famous ?gurus? and to take a look on solutions that are built on common sense. In other words, you need to look for offers that can affect the real root of a problem you have, but not its visible surface.
For example, if your employee does not perform well after stress caused by a merger - a typical famous ?guru? will offer you to change the stressed employee. But it does not resolve the reason that caused that stress. It remains the same.
For example, its like you are trying to fix a leak in your pipes, by replacing your cleaning lady (Dr. Phill like suggestion) until it will end up with a flood. Only then you will realize that the leak was not the cleaning lady?s fault and may find the real problem in the pipes.
The same is true with your stressed employees. Therefore, if you won?t resolve the root of the problem there is no guarantee that new employees will perform, as you need. Why? Because the existing source of unresolved stress will diminish their productivity too.
Those professionals, who are looking for the reason of your troubles ? will find factors, besides the merger, that causes extra stress to your employees and offer you an affordable solution that can compensate the stress caused by the merger.
The problem is how to find the help you need. Why? Because a typical solution you can find is, as usually, offered by people who have no idea about how to do what you really need. Therefore, these gurus-without-clues do everything except decreasing stress of your employees.
What you do really need is to eliminate as many factors as possible that cause stress to your employees = giving extra energy and redirecting it to the motivation of your employees with the purpose to build your business faster. Obviously, this solution cannot be based on the abusing of your employee?s emotional shortages.
Want to argue? Want to prove that most successful marketing campaigns are beneficial for the people and are not an abuse of people?s emotional shortages (Pepsi, McDonalds, Starbucks, Viagra, etc.)?
In my opinion, it?s time to change existing marketing models built on the abuse of people?s emotional shortages and create a new alternative, based on satisfaction of what people really need. Why? When people will understand what they need ? they will stop buying products they do not need. And what will you plan on doing then?
The biggest problem ? there are too many customers who really do not know what they need to figure out the market demand. YOU have to know what they need and lead them to the better - not only for you, but for them too. Can you do so? Do you know how?

P.S. I understand to you I probably look as a stupid guy, who does not understand that anything that brings a lot of money no matter how dirty (even over the dead bodies) is a good business and is a good excuse to continue do so.
I am not against money ? I am against everything that puts money as the primary reason of doing business.
I insist that satisfying of what people NEED instead of abusing of what they WANT (emotional weaknesses) is potentially THE BIGGEST BUSINESS EVER CREATED and definitely is the business of the future.
Why? Because satisfying of our weaknesses can please our vanity, pride, jealousy and other emotions ONLY for a SHORT PERIOD OF TIME, but it won?t make our life actually/physically better in the long run. In contrary to this ? what you really need is indeed changing your life for the better. How happy can you be if you live without what you need?
