Learning Chinese?
Highly unlikely, the US is too stubborn to change. The only ones who manage to keep up now are doing so on their own level. People still use English Measurement while the rest of the world is metric. When offered a second language in schools, they learn Spanish over "Japanese," or what would be smart today, "Korean."

I am for the free market economy, but if the US plans to compete, they need to start acting like it.
