Microsoft Missed the Boat!

..and now they appear to be treading water to get across the sea of competition out there in Mobiles. The phone war is over and it's not been won by Microsoft in this World. Yay...!

They just don't have it in them to do small. Especially with their spyware OS's that are continually attempting to run far too many unneeded tasks and services in the background (even in Windows 7). Here, where device sizes are shrinking, piling on trinkets, gadgets and spy services that clutter the system, will never work in the World of mobiles. They really need to go on a diet and lose the fat (especially the fathead at the top)!

In the mobile World of today and tomorrow, object based or application based systems are the future. Where the OS and kernel are micro and willing to take a back seat. In this World applications carry the ability to run on their own or even w/ the assistance of Web Based computing power. Therefore Open Source is the future in this crowded marketplace, where they must work on a myriad of devices and be secure. That's why Java Apps rule here. Their mind is OPEN!

If you know anything about the Mobile World, you best know that there also, OpenGL ES has become the most prevalent set of API's in the World (bigger than desktops) with the largest base of users and manufacturers in existence. Last time I heard, Microshaft was trying to kill OpenGL on the desktop. I don't think they have a chance in hell in Mobiles!

Their DirectX is in dire need of a complete rewrite, to even work well in the Mobile World let alone Desktops. So how the hell are they even going to compete with a proprietary set of API's, that can't even speak directly to the hardware as well as.... the King of this Mobile World, Khronos Group's OpenGL ES? .....Windows Mobile needs to be retired, before it falls flat on it's embarrassed ass. It's conquered before it barely gets out the door on any new device!
