hoover dam output and figures

I googled for hoover dam output figure. Don't blame me, it was printed on a beleivable web page, which I note, is the same sort of material you looked at.

I clearly was displaying wishful thinking in dropping some zeros ahem in my figures.

Hey at least I made the structure for a financial comparison, which allowed you to tweak it!!

I think it is of little value to start calculating light power per square metre, since the devices are listed as "25kW". All that is needed is further information from the prototype experiment to clarify if this is nominal per day, or whatever. As a rule I'd take experimental data over a calculated figure as the basis of a financial model any day.

Typically Nuclear power are very very bad for ignoring "hidden" costs such as disposal of waste.
We talked about $5bn as the BUILDING cost of the Nuclear Power station. Decommissioning would probably cost a lot of money too, and then there's the 300,000 years of waste storage to think about.
