RE: Well, they have people to handle the red necks too.
Now I normally don't respond to ignorance but I must and will speak up now. Donnie why do you tell people to stop "spewing hatred" when you yourself "spew hatred"?? Your comments are ignorant and out of line and you should learn to watch what you say.

"They get a hot one like you, with zero patience, that insists on only native English speakers, they probably re-route your call to a "good ol' boy" type. If they can make a little money from the idiots, why not?"

I am sorry but my last dealing with dell tech support did not go very well at all. I had a woman who obviously didn't understand English all that well and on many occassions throughout the phone conversation flat out told me she did not understand what I meant by my CD ROM drive is dead. What is there not to understand? CD ROM dead = CD ROM is no longer working. Very simple and easy to understand.

As others have said why should anyone have to put up with tech support that use to be good, but now has gone down hill? If you buy a product b/c a company has said for years we have the best tech support and now that same tech support has all of the sudden dropped off what is a person to think? I have a friend who was dealing with the Dell tech support in India and he told the tech support person that his ZIP drive is no longer working please send me a new one, and what did the tech support person do? Started on page one of their manual and tried to diagnose the problem. My friend has been in the IT field for well over 20 years and knows when a ZIP drive is dead, so why did the tech support person in India not listen? God only knows the answer to that question.

So to round off here Donnie, do watch what you say and if you are going to stand by something aka "spewing hatred" don't "spew hatred" yourself just b/c a customer demands good prompt support for a product they spent a lot of money on.
