It's a culture thing
The USA has thier own Culture and India also has thier own culture that seems to me is quite differnt from the USA.

People in differnt regions put differnt values on differnt things. This can be a serious cause of conflict.

You can see examples of this with in large countries with diverse popululations such as the USA and Canada. A person living on the West coast often has differnt values than a person from the east coast.

Any business dealing between individuals who don't know or understand each others values can lead to conflict and problems.

I know that dealing with East Indian store owners is differnt than dealing with an Italian store owner. The same goes for Sihks, Chinese, or native. They have differnt values and if you take the time to discover them the transaction made in these shops are much smoother.

Also remember that stereo types will lead you to disaster.
