So far there's only been one time I was connected to India when calling about a Latitude. Once the person on the phone identified what type of system I was calling about they redirected me back to someone in the states. So, I suppose it is possible that some may be supported in India, but so far it's been my experience that it's a US person who finally handles the call.

Much as people like to rag on Dell, they're not stupid. I'd be surprised if they're not building and testing AMD systems in the lab. In fact, wasn't there an article on here some time ago about them shipping AMD systems to a large corporate customer that had requested them? They just aren't offering them for general sales, yet. If the perceived market isn't large enough to warrant building up the support and supply chain it makes reasonable business sense not to make the investment.

My personal opinion is that once MS releases a production version of 64 bit Windows you'll find Dell there with Athlon 64 systems ready to ship.
