MS incompetence?
[Edited] "Years ago, Microsoft committed to produce Windows for Alpha, MIPS, and Power chips. All of these projects were ultimately scotched." Now MS has given up trying to port their software to Intel's Itanium, which hurts Intel.

Does anybody believe MS has the competence to keep these projects alive? Or were the projects killed when MS's programmers said, "We just cannot figure it out."

[Never contribute to cruelty what can contributed to incompetence.]
