Americans have to move up the ladder

The reason Americans are richer than Indians is because it takes 47 Rupees to buy a Dollar. The reason it takes 47 Rupees to buy a Dollar is because the Dollar is in high demand all over the world. The reason the Dollar is in such high demand all over the world is because the rest of the world wants to buy advanced stuff made by Americans.

If Americans stopped making advanced stuff the rest of the world will not want to buy American stuff. Demand for the Dollar will drop. Americans will become poor.

Being rich is not a birth right of Americans. If Americans want to be richer than the rest of the world Americans have to make advanced stuff like Boeing airplanes and high-tech software that the rest of the world covets.

Indians, Chinese, Philipinos, Mexicans etc are not standing still. They are doing all they can to catch up with the Americans. When they do, Americans have to move another notch up the ladder. If you don't, and demand to keep "our jobs" in the USA, USA will become a third world country too.

Remember, being richer than the rest of the world is not a birth right of Americans.
