RE: You get what you pay for
I'm actually gald to see someone use the term "Patriotism" in this matter. I'm working, get this, a part-time job, plus doing my own side work fixing people's computers at their homes or small businesses to make ends meet.

The people i work for part-time are so adiment about asking me to work for less. I bust my chops every day to do the work they need and to make sure everything's working ok, and they ask me to lower my cost of what they paying me? I can understand the economy is bad and raises for most companies are out of the question. But when you earn more money a lot of people have better motivation for find more effiecent ways of doing things.

Nowadays, all companies exec's, ceo's, cfo's, etc... worry about is how to increase their profit margin without giving 2 sh**s about their employees. I hope those f***ing bastards go out of business, lose all their money so they can feel the way we feel. If you think job security is in the eye of money holder you are dead-wrong.

How can i say that? Easy, look at the Ernon scandle, all the people who cashed out early? All their money is gone, they got screwed when the government stepped in and reclaimed most of those funds to make an effort to give them back to the people who worked had for their company.

Do you think another enron or aurthur anderson scandle will rock the US economy? Sure i do, there are plenty of greedy shareholders and company owners out there willing to sell their soul for the extra dollar they are going to get. I hope the roast on the BBQ in their next life.

"I'm a software developer and I see it more and more. Outsourcing people just to save a few bucks. It is killing the economy which in turn only drives people to not spend money in this country in the first place. This only hurts these companies in the end. It's a real shame that there is very little patriotism in U.S. businesses. The government needs to come down on this."
