Yes, very smart, they should NOT screw customers
Java should be free, if Sun were to hold people hostage and charge fees, it would drive people to .NET. And, yes, OpenOffice is free, but if you want support, you can get StarOffice. Sun will come out of this, no need to rush to screw customers.
