Actually, Linux is a failure.
OK, let's use some simple logic. Our postulate is that Linux is long since beaten in the server and HPC world (which, of course, is true). Here are the possibilities:

1) Blue Gene is not the fastest supercomputer.

2) Blue Gene does not run Linux

3) Blue Gene does not exist.

Our conclusion: ZDNet is lying! Shocking, isn't it? And you know what's even worse? I have forseen that a lot of news sites and independent researchers will be making similar lies on this topic in the next few years.
