I must disagree with overnight comment. You may not get it all fired up on your first try, but I can and have installed from scratch and had apache, samba and all others working in hours...about the same as it would take with Windows. It is all about knowing your environment. They are more alike than anyone would like to admit. It is all in the syntax. You can even create new commands to mimic your NT command lines if it makes you feel better.
