Maybe this will lower prices on land lines
I don't have Cell Phone and have no intention in getting one. I just see no need for it. I have the hardware, the physical phone, just no service.

I don't like the idea of someone being able to call me anywhere I go. So I didn't carry my cell phone with me. At best it stayed in the car where I don't answer it as I'm driving, not a safe thing to do. So it was there for emergency purposes. Back then the cost was $45 a month for device I rarely if ever used. Not a worthwhile service to me.

I'd like a Cell phone that costs nothing unless I use it. I'd be willing pay a high price per minute if I ever had need for it.
