They will never give up. As long as they remain the Wal-Mart of the computer biz, people will flock to them for cheap computers.
I have had 2 Dell laptops (company issued, not my choice). The first, well, my daughter has toys built better with higher quality construction materials. The second was an improvement, but performance was lacking compared to laptops of similar price (e.g. IBM, HP).
