Low cost net device of AMD
I am an AMD fanatic and its foray into low cost net devices is a welcome one for a country like India where people can afford a net device at a lowest rate of Rs.12500/-. The lowest multimedia PC costs around R.20000/- taking into account all the levies payable to the state. This move will increase the PC penetration in India that will lead to betterment of Indians in every field. I request the state goverments to reduce the sales tax leviable to this device so that the cost is brough down further. Kudos to AMD people whose processors are lower in cost than Intel. But what the AMD people lack is the advertisement blitzkrieg that is being carried out by the Intel even in the vernacular press. I have yet to come an advertisement by AMD in the vernacular press, leave alone the English language press. I could not comprehend their marketing techniques.
