AMD should publically declare...
AMD should publically declare that they will no longer allow Dell to use them to get better pricing and availability from their parent Intel and as a result that under no circumstances will they ever sell directly to Dell.

The above will help AMD's customers (Dell's competitors) in two ways: one, Dell will have no AMD based models to compete with HP/Compaq, IBM, eMachines, Gateway etc, and secondly, Dell's price advantage due to their ability to threaten Intel with the possibility of switching to AMD, will also end.

It would be a win-win for all but Dell and Intel.
