This is BIG news...
Walt-Mart clients are blue collar / average Joe.
When computers becomes commodities,
overseas facilities take the market, selling
cheap, decent & also quality products. This
process affected all traditionals players (IBM
exited the pc market while ago). Now Dell is
starting to feel the heat. Uncle Bill puted the
OS on center stage, and from there started
extending his tentacles.
Now come Wal-Mart saying is the channel
what's matters, and they are right. Whatever
brand they put on their tablets, whatever OS
they put it will sell. This is a scary
development, and for Dell, and for StevieB (for
us in the loop). And uncle Billy shouldn't be
sleeping very well, when Wal-Mart says, you
know, we don't really need your OS...
