I have the answer

I used to love the Republicans too, the old traditional kind: small taxing and small government. Sorry to say, I think those kinds of true Republicans are gone for good. The transformation of the Repubs into this new psycho warmongering Big Brother Nazi socialist party really is a result of the New World Order globalists beginning to set their sights on America. We saw its incipience with the staged attack on the trade towers, 9/11/01. The whole point of that attack was to usher in big government (the "Patriot" Act, which they wanted to make permanent law) and take over the world through control of the world's oil suppplies. This was why they brazenly pushed for the Iraq war. Afghanistan is destroyed. The recent "election" was pretty much completely rigged (gee, Bush and Cheney's oil man, Karzai, just happened to win!). The IMF and World Bank now OWNS Afghanistan and is breaking it up into pieces to be sold to the highest bidders. This is their intention with Iraq if they ever get enough control over it. Pretty much the WHOLE arab world knows this, and that is the reason for their ferocious standoff. They know if they give in and allow this to happen, the whole arabic way of life (innocent arabs, not the Yasser types) in the middle east will be subjugated to greedy western global interests. So the "new" Repubs are doing this at the behest of powerbrokers who are ABOVE them and are the real ones running the show throughout the world. All these "terror" acts around the world are deliberately coerced staged acts mostly done by governments (like 9/11/01 was done by the US federal government in collusion with the Israeli Mossad and the British MI6), and are designed to underhandedly trick free peoples into handing over their freedoms in exchange for "security". Little do they know that they are really enslaving themselves, and becoming mere pawns to be toyed with and robbed blind by the globalists.
As for the Christian conservatives: I think they have very little idea about what is really going on. Let's face it: they're a simple-minded bunch easily sold on fantastical delusions. Keep in mind this is a group of people that take seriously a book written by mysogynistic, homophobic men over 2000 years ago that says such things like women came from a man's rib. I think Christians would look the other way on just about any crime, so long as it meant getting their Jesus president back in office so they can get back to the important progressive action of thwarting scientific progress and persecuting gays and Muslims.
