Butt seriously....just how much speed and performance do we
need anyway? I mean here I am sitting in front of my 1.8 ghz G5
iMac loaded with a gig of memory and I'm browsing the
web..doing a bit of email, and responding to this article. I
sometimes us a spread sheet, occasionaly a word processor and
such. Once in a while I have all these apps and more open at the
same time..but still the vast majority of us I think have pretty
much reached our limits of the whole NEED thing.
I'm sure these mini super computers however will find a use but
even it these industries there must someday be a limit to the
whole performance NEED.
And if it has not already cause a problem for the industry...it
will.
