Easy to fix (short term)
Cancel the estimated 350,000 - 700,000 (the INS can't give a figure) H1B/L1 visa holders and fill the positions with citizens. We will reduce unemployment in the IT sector by between 50 - 100% while helping India (in particular) with their projected shortage of IT workers. At least our citizens will have jobs until their position is outsourced overseas.
