I agree with most of what you said
We use wireless to connect to 19 different locations. It was a little bumpy at first but once we worked the bugs out it ran like a charm. The real key with wireless is having it professionally set up. People don't understand the complexity involved with radio signals. For example sending a signal over water can cause problems with reflection. If you go wireless then call a company that knows radio and have them do the site survey. Don't stick an antenna on the roof and expect everything to just work.
