RE: Tech BigWigs...
Personally i would like to say technology has matured so much in a way that it makes it much easy to use all the high-tech gadgets. If it didn't you wouldn't see any kind of explosion of digital camera buying.

The problem is now with technology is getting something that will do what you want it to do, and not have to replace it when it becomes obsolete like as on tommorrow.

Computers are now becomings more like the regular sedan's of cars out of the road nowadays. 10 years ago having a personal home computer was the equivilent of having a jaguar. Now, having a computer is like having a regular dodge minivan, to a ford focus. The point is, computers are now all plain jane, just like cars.

Most cars look and run the same as the other brands do, just different names. That is basically where computers are at.

I don't believe in adopting the latest and greatest so fast because you get stuck with the burden of figuring out all the problems and so forth and working out the kinks in it. Allow it to mature a little more and you have a great product.

Perfect example, wireless networking. It's come a long way, but it's still atleast 3 or more standards.
