For Intel, the future has two cores

Two things

1. So now Intel thinks it isn't in a race with AMD -- it's a "sea change in computing" instead. Funny how they changed their tune when they fell behind.

2. And now Intel wants us to think of computing in more complex ways than just clockspeed. Again, funny how that changed when they couldn't keep beefing up the speed because of heat and limitations in P4 architecture, not to mention AMD's "slower" processors kicking the, errr... fecal matter out of the P4.

Next they'll tell us that their poor performance this quarter is because of the weak dollar or the Democrats.
