And stop reading those American car magazines 90% loaded with some flashy advertisments selling gadgets to increase power (while not mentioning more important factors from acceleration standpoint - that is torque and transmission), spoilers (like they would speed up your street car) or shiny tubes for exhaust plus noisy mufflers (to add effect... in form of getting people deaf).


Learn some physics and write that software. Yes, you can do that even for your own car at least in small part to learn when it performs better (standard race car driver drill). You just need to know some basics of physics, mechanics and mathematics. Trust me on that. That can be real hobby for car racing software developer wink
