HyperTransport comes from ALPHA, not AMD
Lets get something strait. AMD did not come up with HyperTransport out of thin air. It is technology that comes from the DEC Alpha processor, along with Intels HyperThreading. Infact, the same engineers who work at AMD on the Athlon come from the Alpha.

Your comments on benchmarks says nothing. Processors can be tailored to perform on certain benchmarks, and benchmarks can be tailored to certain platforms. Lies, damn lies, and statistics (and benchmarks).
