Top of the line garbage
If Alienware is going to depict itself as one of the best computer makers out there. Then they need to have the best available componets on their systems. What type of software or game is going to utilize 4 ghz, and for four grand. I might as well by myself a good running car.

My biggest complaint is there notebooks are not even the best. Here is a list of componets of Alienware vs. Dell

Alienware:
- 3 year warranty
- Win XP pro(with SP2)
- Intel 3.4 ghz
- 15.4 WSXGA screen 1680x1050
- 1gb PC-3200 ram
- 60gb HD 7200 rpm
- 128 radeon 9600 module
- 4x2x8 DVD+/-/R/RW
- $3400

Dell XPS
- Intel 3.4ghz
- Win XP pro
- 1gb ram PC-3200
- 256mb Radeon 9800 module
- 100gb HD
- 8x DVD+R/RW double layer
- 4 year warranty
- 15.4 WUXGA 1920x1200
- $3100


The dell kicks the Alienware's trash. Mainly with the UXGA screen, 8x DVD+R, 256mg video card. Why blow your money for a name when you can get much better performance from similar computer companies
