A little behind the times I'd say...
For those who haven't been paying proper attention... AMD released Athlon some 5 years ago and blew InHell's Piss 3 and rushed-to-market response Piss 4, right out of the water.

So no AMD didn't lag behind Inhell for 31 years, they actually produced InHell's chippies for a number of years before developing their tweaked versions of the X86 chip. Then with Athlon AMD most certainly took control of X86 market with superior designed products and they haven't looked back since. InHell meanwhile has scrapped chip designs, recalled millions of Mobos and 915 chipsets and released their defective design over-heating 90 nano process Piss 4 chippies that can't keep pace despite huge overheating issues.

So AMD actually has taped out their dual-core chippies and has running production based units to demonstrate while the Satan Clara Clowns bumble. Inhell SpinMeisters are talking their normal B.S. but they have nothing but a defective 90 nano process, obsolete laptaps (Pentium M is only 32 bit), obsolete, over-heating, slow, Piss 4 desktop chippies, and Hacked - "no I can't do 64 bit natively" Xeon L3s and other wonders of the World like In-A-Coma which ain't a gonna.

Time to get the facts straight on these stories before people start thinking Inhell's SpinMeisters work for ZD Net or pay shills to.
