AMD Could be the problem here
Actually I've seen where AMD has issues with PC configurations and you must be more careful with what you have in your box and how it's configured. To that end, I could well see where the same software setup [and mirrored hardware] would NOT create a conflict with Intel where it would in an AMD setup.
