These posts seem like they are from another planet
Once again: There are VALID reasons why the free market (and
eBay being the epitomy of free market, where the prices are set
by demand) for the MP3 players decided that the BEST, most
POPULAR, most WIDELY sold MP3 player in the world is the iPod
line. They are also the MOST expensive ones; apparently, they
seem to be the BEST as well. I am not saying this, the FREE
market rules are declaring it. You may say as may as hundred
times that there is no reason to buy iPod; you will be proven
wrong by the free market.

Cool being only one reason, there are plenty others that Polaroid
does NOT have - quality, simplicity of interface, quality, desired
features, quality, pristine sound, quality, size and weight,
software, quality... It is cool too; not just for Mac users; Windows
users seem to agree on this as well...

HP didn't go with Polaroid; they decided they wanted to sell
many MP3 players, so they decided to ask Apple to sell their
iPods. They will most likely make a killing. Sorry, Polaroid, Sony
Network Walkman and others - better luck in the parallel
universe...
