serously.. not even in the same class.
I'm not tryign to make excuses for Intel here.. i'm not that big a fan of Xeons.. btu they were not desgined to compete with the G5... the g5 is still a desktop chip, which means it's cheaper and designed with less tolernce.
It's like comparing ht eAthlon64 to the Opteron. sute the Athlon64 will give you incredibel speeds for so much less $$$... but which one do you think will last longer?
