For Intel to be stopped in their behavior, and AMD to get a boost is really needed for the PC market. We should not underestimate the world wide effects if the Korea, EU and US had done nothing. It is in our best interest that this is happening. If we have MS and Intel only then we will not have the freedom of choice anymore and face a next to total dominance by two companies that have done a lot become monopolies in the PC market. If they secretly combine powers then we are at their mercy. The EU has learned from the dealings with MS and I don't think they will let the same happen with Intel. I would be happy to see if they get some hefty fines as MS did and stay under much tighter scrutiny. If AMD gets something out of this then good for them. We need the competition as consumers.
