But Linux is limiting Microosft groth.
There is now another option if you want to use comodity hardware. And, all the big Unix vendors make money on hardware.They could dump their versions of Unix and switch to Linux. So Unix losing market share to Linux does not mean the end of the world for Unix vendors, but it does mean that they now have to compete with Dell.

Microsoft on the other hand only makes money on Software. They have no chance of making any money on Linux.
