Gartner credibility near zero on anything
When you sell MSFT the answers they want to hear, even when you put out something that may be accurate it's tainted by the previous results-for-hire. After a while no one pays attention to anything you say, always wondering who's behind the agenda today.

Gartner, Yankee Group, CapGemini, and tabloid newspapers are in the same trash bin as far as I'm concerned.
