Need to get there first
The good ol nanotechnology topic. Only thing to say is I hope China doesn't develop it first. I'm sure a country run by a communist dictatorship that has poured billions of dollars into military backed nanotech projects has only good intentions.

Whoever develops nanotechnology, which leads to nanoweapons, holds the tiebreaker to the current situation of MAD (mutually assured destruction) that nuclear weapons created amongst world superpowers.

I might be paranoid, but if you're standing around 10 years from now and something starts to eat the flesh off of you and everyone around you, I told you so.
