You can't make a contract
That violates the law. Then it is an illegal contract and can't be enforced. This one is againsy the fair use act. But then the MPAA will probably come up with the lame arguement that the companies are not consumers. But it's still crap, how will people be able to make backups under their rights? No hardware to do it, huh? Kind of like when ex senator Patrick Monihan tried to make bullets for guns like $25 each. So you can own the gun, just not shoot it. Of course drug dealers will smuggle them in, just like they do with the drugs and guns right now. The real issue is that the consumer is getting screwed once more. Like they said a couple of months ago, if your dvd wears out, buy another one.
