Mine (at 8.5 years old) cares. She knows that the VHS doesn't have the games and the bonus features that the DVD does. So I haven't bought VHS in years. Kids nowadays are more tech-savvy than you think.

Back to the subject of making copies-Disney is one of those companies that makes copying a DVD almost mandatory. They severely limit their street presence for their catalog. If your "Sleeping Beauty" deluxe edition DVD gets damaged after Disney pulls it, then you are screwed until the next re-release (the cycle for Disney is currently around seven years). Of course, you could always go on eBay and pay 5 times the original cost for a classic title...
