Neither Bush nor the FCC give a rip about you or how much you get ripped off for phone service. Bush bullied the FCC into freezing rates until after the election just to avoid yet another reason for voters to be pissed off at him.

As soon as the six months is up though, start saving your pennies because SBC and the rest of them will be coming for you. First they will jack the rates up for their competitors so as to put them out of business. Then..... you are next. Friggin phone companies will be as bad as the cable companies in no time at all.
