Rev may be well known

but not many really believe in it. Maybe GW does have a personal belief in the Bible. Still, not many believe in the literal fulfillment of revelations and maybe GW is one that doesn't. Even if he does, it'd be a hard road to get others in his camp to follow along on this one. It's too "out there". This is something that's easy to discuss in an online forum. It's a lot more difficult to convince the public and fellow politicians that you haven't gone off the deep end when you start talking about Revelations.

Safety is not a foolish concept. In fact, is it just me, or does it seem to be one of the bigger motivators driving public policy today? Even if it's not yet, just give us another disaster like 9/11. I think we'll see this issue drive our policy decisions even more.

By the way, I'll admit I maybe another in a long line of "alarmists" proclaiming the end is near (although I've not started saying that yet). It's just that the similarities to revelations are too scary to ignore. I think we should be watching carefully and then going back to the Bible and learning!
