I guess my point is that the content currently on TV is pointless for High Definition.

I'm a movie collector and I'm going to get a an HDTV but for basic TV it's useless. Unless things change and I see little change coming as reality TV is too big a money make with it costing little to make and getting as many views as top sit com shows like friends gets. I just can't see joe average buying HDTVs for $4000-$5000.

It would be nice if Joe Average started buying because the price would come down for me. 2006 is when I buy my HDTV.
