Cost doesn't compare actually
yeah you paid $1500 for that PC and it lasts you 3 years if you are lucky. But look what you can use a PC for and compare that to a TV. You can watch Reality TV and comercial or you can surf the net, write a book, digital photography, program, surf, chat, phone, email, and play games.

The TV is just a TV does little other than allow you to watch advertising and they want you to $5000 for that? That's just crazy!

Now if you are a movie collector I can see it but if all you do it watch the news and reality tv what need is there for 65" HD TV?
