More like each time AMD comes up with something, they push themselves out of irrelevance.

"I can't wait to see what Intel will now have to come up with regain its dominance"

AMD may have some nifty new products, but Intel still has most of the market share, a lot of marketing dollars, and contracts with all the major players. Doesn't seem like Intel has lost its dominance at all. Intel makes more money in a single quarter than AMD does in an entire year, that is, in the years that AMD actually turns a profit.
