AMD taking the technology lead
With the Opteron already trouncing the Xeon on benchmarks, technology such as strained silicon will further push Intel into irrelevance..

AMD is now way ahead in both price as well as performance..I can't wait to see what Intel will now have to come up with regain its dominance. It seems unlikely that usage of just strained silicon is going to gain Intel sufficient performance improvement..
