I get your point, but you've overstated things by quite a bit.

---Ran out of G4s---

No, ran out of G4 iMacs, still producing plenty of G4
Powerbooks, iBooks, eMacs, etc, etc.

---can't build G5s---

This has been a topic of speculation, although supplies appear
to be quite good for lower end G5 machines, while the higher
end ones are scarce. We'll see if it affects the G5 iMac next
month.

---Real is taking their IPod market---

Are you sure about this? I'd say that Real is trying to muscle in,
and like most of their lamebrained schemes, is failing to make a
dent.
