I agree unlike some of the respondents I found the article both humorous and honest. We continue to be deluged with new products and features we don't need while the improvements on what we do need go lacking. I consider myself a technocrat, however somewhere in the evolution of some amazing technology we have forgotten that the original mission was to make life easier,
work more efficient and faster giving us time to enjoy "life". The latest fad or phase in Hardware/Software/Electronic Gizmo becomes the end rather than the means to the end. The author is right we collectively allow the industry to drive our needs rather than the other way around. Just say no
