noisy fan with wal-mart laptop
newbie here: my response is being sent to the list from my new $598 wireless walmart laptop. its a nice laptop BUT for the loud fan! i called walmart.com this morning and they said i could return it and they will send out another... BUT it can't be fixed even with the warranty. similar to their vacuum cleaner sales. sadly, i already loaded it with my favorite software. walmart could not tell me its manufacturer. my son says that if i return the laptop, they will probably send out another with the same problem, very noisy fan. anyone else have one of these laptops but without the fan noise? on another note, i paid for expedited delivery at $31, and got the thing in 7 days, not the 2-3 as listed on the site. walmart.com would only offer an apology for both complaints, no money and no repair.
