That is in range for younger students.
Laptops haven't made it big time in the high schools (yet) but at this price point it's going to get a lot of mom and dads as well as grand parents thinking.

Given the number of moms, dads, and grand parents that do their "back to school shoping" at the local WalMart, I think they may have just hit a long ball.
