What bugs me in the article
Unless these devices are zoological, such as an arthropod, they would have antennas rather than antennae. Antennae are jointed appendages attached to the heads of insects. Antennas are wire or other metalic type devices to radiate electromagnetic energy from a radio transmitting device.
