Why o why...?: Why o why are they making video disks which fit in computers?

Aren't they just digging themselves into yet another hole of piracy by doing this? They go on and on about how naughty the public is and how they need the DMCA to be able to throw little girls in jail, but what are they actually doing about it from a tech point of view?

If we're going to invent a brand new video disk then why not make it a little bit bigger than a PC drive bay? If people can't physically put these things in a PC then it must surely solve a lot of their problems.

Common sense eh?
