There are many products..
..designed to help people take a dump, but that doesn't mean that everyones' rushing out to go buy them. The big guys are interested in this because whoever wins this "battle" will own all the hardware pretty much in the whole household, granting them an enormous monopoly lock. This is another example of manufacturers trying to create a market out of thin air. However, there is very little consumer interest. And my biggest reason for that is that people already have this functionality, although in separated form. There is not enough compelling reason for people to throw away all their toys and buy a merged dinosaur.
